We
are now to announce the release of the first version of the ChinaSpec
spectrum dataset which includes continous ground measurements of SIF and
broadband reflectance. In this version, dataset from six SIF sites has
been released. These six sites are : Xilinhot (锡林浩特), Jurong(句容), Shangqiu(商丘), Xiaotangshang(小汤山), Daman (黑河大满)and Huailai(怀来).
To download the data, please register first. The data format is the simple .csv file. Each dataset can be downloaded from the webpage of each site. Before using the data, we ask you to carefully read and respect the data policy and we are available for questions and happy to receive feedbacks and suggestions.
The
preparation of this version of spectruam dataset has been possible
thanks only to the efforts of many scientists in the ChinaSpec network. Refer to the Data Policy page for data usage and acknowledgement requirements.
Details on the information of ChinaSpec and data usage can be found in the paper below:
https://www.essoar.org/doi/abs/10.1002/essoar.10501911.1
The data product includes PAR, SIF, reflectance and vegetation index for each site. We processed the data at the half-hourly resolution. In each file, there is a meta data which give detailed information for each site. Meta data products provide extra information on specific parameters of the data process. The groups of products are:
● SIF dataset: The SIF dataset includes PAR and SIF retrievals with two algorithms (3FLD and SFM).
● Reflectance dataset: This dataset includes reflectance at several broadband for vegetation index calculation. e.g., NDVI, EVI and PRI.
Please send questions, comments, and feedback to Chinaspec staff. We’d love to hear from you!
Please use the downloads page to get access to the ChinaSpec Dataset.
